Model Suki Waterhouse Has Been Cast in the ‘Divergent’ Sequel!

We love the high-fashion powerhouse (or should we say Waterhouse, arewerite?) just as much as we love Divergent, so this pretty much makes our day.

If anyone can strut from the runway to the red carpet, it’s Suki Waterhouse. (Did yousee her perfect, confection-level princess moment at the Met Gala?!) Which is why we were so beyond excited to learn she joined the cast of Insurgent, the much-anticipated sequel to this year’s blockbuster hitDivergent. Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, Theo James, AND Suki Waterhouse? Pure gold. (Oh, and while we’re on the topic of Shailene and Ansel: We are literally daysfrom The Fault In Our Stars. DAYS.)

Suki snagged the role of Marlene, the fearless Dauntless-born initiate who, uh, delivers a message gone wrong in the sequel (we’re trying not to give too much away, guys!), and we think she’s the perfect fit. What do you think, fellow readers?

Insurgent is set to hit theaters March 15 of next year, which means we have plenty of time to reread the trilogy in its entirety. And plenty of time to speculate who they’re going to cast in the next movie. Ready, set, make your guesses in the comments!

Speaking of books on the big screen, have you checked out our roundup of amazing YA reads that are way overdue for the Hollywood treatment? If you’re on the hunt for good summer books (that aren’t, you know, on your assigned reading lists), be sure to check it out.
