Elegant and lovely wedding dresses

This charming hill country wedding set at the Westin La Cantera Resort outside San Antonio was true perfection with champagne color wedding dresses. The bride, Emily, found fresh lemon wreaths mixed with bold black and white canopy stripes as her inspiration. She accented kraft envelopes & touches of burlap throughout the event to give the bold black, white, and yellow a comfortable and relaxed feel for summer with champagne color wedding dresses Staying true to her classic charm, Emily wanted a touch of something unique and different yet tasteful and bold. Emily and Russ shared the vows on The El Fortin Lawn within limestone arches laced with breathtaking hill country views champagne color wedding dresses. Guests were seated under a historical oak tree that spanned across the entire lawn blanketing the congregation in perfect shade.

The Reception took place on at the Club house and overlooked the acclaimed golf course, which was a perfect backdrop for photos of the newlyweds. The reception was appropriately cohesive to the overall feel of the wedding and also showcased bold black and white canopy stripes as table cloths. Each table had floral accents adored with fresh lemon give the entire venue the freshest citrus aroma. The couple had the most quaint seating arrangement, with framed monogrammed chalkboards noting their places. Vintage string lights wrapped around the reception site as guests danced the night away under the Texas stars. The newlyweds made their exit in a vintage Rolls-Royce and enjoyed a honeymoon in the Bahamas.

The wedding styles

The theme was rustic elegance with Navy and Copper being the two focal colors. Copper lanterns, mercury glass candleholders, and subtle peacock designs were integrated into our décor. Our DIY décor was a labor of love for the entire family with Corset Mermaid Wedding Dresses From my mother making our beautiful table arrangements with Sola wood flowers and peacock feathers, to my grandmother hand stringing Sola wood flower garland for the oak tree.

They  wanted our loved ones to experience a little taste of Texas. Our guests were welcomed with a bottle of Texas wine in their suites with Corset Mermaid Wedding Dresses. Ghost pepper chocolate truffles made from a local chocolatier, glass spice jars filled with Salt Lick BBQ seasoning, homemade spiced nuts, and lavender seed sachets were all part of our guests Texas goodie bags.Evan and I chose a sweeping oak in the garden for the backdrop to exchange our hand written vows. We were drawn to the oak trees symbolism of strength, endurance and deep roots so it seemed fitting to unite under its canopy among our loved ones. Our hope was that the reception would feel like our own backyard party with a relaxed, fun vibe. Our guests dined under the tent outfitted with globe lights while the Inn’s dog and cats sat looking from the large porch. Evan and I have a passion for live music so it was a priority to find an amazing live band. With the help of Geoff, our photographer, we found Tiffany Christopher Band, complete with stand-up bass. The band learned and played all our favorite music from Ray Lamontagne, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros “Home”, to our first dance song “Lovely Tonight” by Joshua Radin. The band kept our friends and family dancing on the Inn’s porch until the end of the night. The day was beyond perfect and Evan and I felt truly blessed being able to share our special day with all our loved ones.

Lace wonders, lovely wedding dresses

When I envisioned the wedding, I knew I wanted to have it by the beach- but not necessarily on the beach. I also knew I loved the look of old barns with chandeliers, and I wished I could find that perfect mix of rustic beach barn chic with Cheap Lace Wedding Dresses…I found just that with the Peaks Island Lions Club! The grounds were right on the bluff with green grass for outdoor dining and views of the ocean. The club itself become my barn! We were able to take such a raw and sort of quirky old space and make it absolutely gorgeous with the help of our wedding planners, True Event, and our AMAZING vendors.

I was inspired by a lot of different things when I started planning, but luckily it all came together quite seamlessly. Firstly, I wanted to incorporate Balinese colors and customs with Cheap Lace Wedding Dresses, since Bali was where Adam proposed to me. The people of Bali are absolutely incredible. They are just so trusting and optimistic. For the wedding, I made my own Balinese offering baskets and we used a few exotic flowers to try and flow in a bit of their culture we loved and respected so much. I also had just re-read the Great Gatsby in time for Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of the film, and could not help but be inspired by the descriptions of Gatsby’s elegant parties. I chose Jenny Packham’s Eden dress partly because it might have been something Daisy would wear. We drank rose champagne and other classic cocktails in antique blue ball jars. I wanted our wedding to be timeless while throwing an unforgettably fun party!
